Homeopathy
About
Homeopathy is a natural and holistic system of medicine based on the principle of treating like with like. For example, coffee is known to cause insomnia, but miniscule amounts of coffee specially prepared as a homeopathic medicine may be used to alleviate insomnia. This principle of using likes to treat likes has been known for thousands of years and was formalised into a therapeutic system of medicine over 220 years ago by German physician, Dr Samuel Hahnemann.
This time-honoured principles of treating like with like can be applied to all forms of life – people as well as animals! Each homeopathic medicine is specifically matched to the client.
Homoeopathy is a traditional natural therapy to support health and wellbeing. It is gentle but powerful in its action and is free from any chemical side-effects, making it especially suitable for Organic and Biodynamic farmers, as well as pets and their owners.
Homeopathy is a self-regulated and low-risk form of holistic medicine with little or no side-effects and can be prescribed along other forms of medicine.
Homeopathy has been established and refined for over 220 years. Extensive clinical experience, observation and research continue to support homeopathy as a valid form of medicine. Today, homeopathy forms part of mainstream medical practice in many countries throughout the world.
